"Who is this great man of mystery?" you're wondering. Or maybe not.
Well, let me tell you anyway.
I'm Jeff. I live in Osaka, Japan and teach English at a local university where the student ratio is about 80% female. It's a tough life I lead.
Up at the top there you'll see my wife, Noriko. Isn't she purty ? She's also very sweet, gentle and intelligent. Plus she puts up with my nonsense and only rolls her eyes a little bit at my various geekish pursuits. She likes Agatha Christie and THE AVENGERS, which score her extra points in my book. Her love of Katherine Heigl movies is a fault I can usually overlook.
But enough about her. This is supposed to be about ME!
Over to the left here, you can observe the Jeff in his native habitat. He can usually be found in this location, often staring slack-jawed and drooling at his enormous plasma TV. Other times, he can be spotted at his computer upstairs, wasting way the hours on the internet.
This site should give you a gist of my general interests. I like movies, UK telly, old U.S. TV shows (and a few new ones); reading books, especially in genres involving detectives, adventure, ghosts, monsters, exotic places, and the overall fantastique.; listening to music, podcasts, audio books and radio drama. I'm also into travel, scuba diving, long walks along the Yodogawa river looking for good places to dump the bodies of my enemies, and sundry other activities.
